Our Little Cub Scout Pack

We've been in charge of organizing a Cub Scout Pack here at Osan. We are now chartered and this is the first time in 20 years that Osan Military Branch has had an active, chartered Cub Scout Pack. We started out with 4 boys and are now up to 8 boys. It's exciting seeing the little Pack grow and they are a lot of fun.

Here are a couple of pictures of our Pack. We had just done some "Flag Etiquette" training. They learned how to raise and lower a flag properly on the Elementary School flag pole, how to fold the flag,, respect it, etc. We them took them to the big Air Force Base flag. We wanted them to see how much respect the soldiers give to the flag. They were in full class-A uniforms with white gloves on. As the National Anthems of both Korea and the United States were piped via loudspeakers throughout the whole base they slowly lowered both flags. As they did so the scouts, all in a line, saluted the flags. It was the cutest thing ever! But you can be the judge of that. In these pictures they are waiting for the flags to come down.
