Germany-Tuesday

We arrived here on Monday night and after a good night's sleep we were ready to party. We decided that after two days of traveling we would stick around the hotel for the day. So we decided to rent some bikes and go for a ride around Garmisch. They have great bike paths all over Germany. We rode to the Olympic Stadium and rode the toboggan ride and ate at a cool German restaurant.

After our ride (about 6 miles) we came back to the hotel and headed straight for the pool and hot tub. It was very nice because we were all very hot and sticky.

We're ready to ride!

You couldn't see K and L so I took a picture of them in their chariot. E and I took turns riding the bike with the trailer attached.

Re-grouping after a photo-op at a little waterfall.

M at the Olympic Stadium.

H on a bike bridge over a pretty stream.

The German restaurant that we ate at.

This was the toboggan ride.

Ok, I had to get a picture of this token. This is the token that you had to buy in order to go on the toboggan ride. My family seems to have this preoccupation with bodily functions so they've gotten a lot of mileage out of the word "fahrt". This word is everywhere. The freeways have this word in front of every exit and that is kind of what it means, I guess, kind of like "go" or "exit" or "way". Anyway, they announce it whenever they see it.
