We have lived in this apartment for 4 months now and within the first month we discovered we had a lovely (sarcastic) indoor water feature. The very large window in our master bedroom leaks...profusely...no kidding...it looks like a small waterfall. I wish we would have thought to take a picture of it. However, not only does the top of the window leak but the wallpaper "blisters", meaning that when it rains a lot the water is trapped between the cement wall and the wallpaper.
The other thing that happens is due to the cold weather outside and the warmth inside two walls in each of the 4 bedrooms "sweat"...including the insides of the closets. Well, i am sad to report that my scrapbooks got wet and molded for the second time in 5 months.
We showed the sites to the landlord when he was over looking at something else and within about a week or so they (the landlord and the realtor) had a construction crew in the apartment upstairs tearing things apart. They haven't been the best at communicating their intents to us but they were supposed to move us upstairs for 4 days while they completed the repairs down here. When it became apparent that they would not be able to have us moved back into our apartment before Christmas we asked them to delay until after Christmas. We had the missionaries coming over for dinner on Christmas Eve and two single guys coming over for Christmas dinner. We also found out that the move was way more extensive that we first understood.
